Well, I got down to 206, life happened, and I went back to all my old habits. I have 60 days until my Mom and Dad come ! I am embarrased I have done this to myself. So, back on the trail for me.
I have a new form of exercise…SPANXercise. Spanx is a well, a firm but stretchy “slimming apparel” , that smooths out the “bumps & lumps”. Well, I have the waistband at my knees. Then I have to squirm around pulling and grunting to get them at the top of my thighs (strength training). Then I have to run around pulling them up while jumping up and down (aerobic plyometrics!). FINALLY oh my heck, there at my waist. I suck in my breath and PULL them up my waist….now exhale (yoga). So, if you want to accentuate your curves but without the potholes, I highly recommend them – and get your morning workout too!
Well, I am going to come clean (am I at an AA meeting?), no wait I am at a meeting with my enemy, THE SCALE!!! Drum roll please…………oh boy this is difficult. No one knows my weight, not my husband, not my Mom, and I definitely did not until recently. My weight is 213 lbs!! How did this happen? Fast food, no sleep, 17 hour workdays, coffee and pop for fuel. I started on the Family First diet program (Idaho Falls) this past Monday. Easy to follow, and I really like it (so far) – check back on that in a month!
Now waiting on menu from the Dr. Office. Getting a little frustrated- should have had it by now. Having a tough time with my barrel racing and pole bending…both my horse and I are struggling. I guess like weight loss, you hit a plateau, and just need to work at it harder!!!
I am a barrel racer, and this is a blog of my weight loss journey. I started this blog to receive support from and encourage other bodacious bottomed barrel racing cowgirls. I should receive my doctor supervised program next week, and will post my progress.
